MTA Arts & Design encourages the use of public transit in the NYC region by presenting visual & performing arts.
“Now playing at Fulton Center, “New York City 3000” is set in a retro sci-fi inspired version of New York City in the future…”
“…The story follows a variety of mischievous and funny creatures roaming around the night sky of a futuristic city. To bring this animation to life, Nakamura mapped out the plots and placements of the creatures on a storyboard against a futuristic cityscape….”
Presented by MTA Arts & Design with technical support from Westfield Properties and ANC Sports, “New York City 3000” plays on 52 screens for 2 minutes at the top of each hour throughout the Fulton Center.
