Logic Supply to Unveil Ultra Small Form Factor Digital Media Player at Digital Signage Expo 2018
The CL210 brings versatile wireless connectivity and Logic Supply’s Hardshell technology to the company’s smallest,
most affordable fanless media player ever.
South Burlington, VT – Global computer hardware manufacturer Logic Supply (www.logicsupply.com) has unveiled their CL210 Ultra Small Form Factor media player (www.logicsupply.com/cl210-10/). Surrounded by an ultra-durable cast aluminum enclosure, and configurable with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G connectivity and advanced Consumer Electronics Control (CED), the CL210 has been engineered to offer flexibility and reliability in challenging signage environments from outdoor billboards and self-service kiosks, to digital menu boards and transportation signage applications.
“This solution was designed and developed to meet the demands of the digital media market by providing a very reliable and versatile player,” said Logic Supply Visual Communications Specialist Robert Suffoletta. “The fanless CL210 is the rare combination of form, fit and function that still manages to provide impressive graphics performance.”
The CL210 can be connected with a host of displays and peripherals via two mini DisplayPorts™ capable of dual 1080p or single 4K resolution, dual Gigabit LAN, two USB 3.0 and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The system also includes a USB 2.0 port and RS-232 box header on the bottom, and can be configured with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and Extrovert 4G LTE capability.
The CL210 is powered by an efficient Intel Apollo Lake Celeron processor and measures a mere 3.3 x 4.5 x 1.3 inches. It offers 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage. The system can be configured with Ubuntu or Windows 10 IoT and also has a built-in MicroSD card for additional removable storage.
Logic Supply’s newest media player will make its debut at this year’s Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas, NV, which begins on March 28th.
“We’ve been working with Logic Supply for the last few years on a range of projects that require highly reliable computer hardware,” said Kevin Romano, Executive Vice President and founder, Christie Experiential Network. “In our industry, reliability is paramount. Every moment of downtime potentially represents significant revenue loss. Employing Logic Supply hardware lets us focus exclusively on creating immersive and engaging OOH solutions for our clients and their content.”
In addition to digital media applications, the CL210 is well suited for IoT, data acquisition, automation, edge compute, and network gateway installations that require a reliable, versatile, ultra small form factor device.
The CL210 will be available in Spring 2018, but Logic Supply is currently engaging with customers interested in the system to evaluate project requirements and timelines.
