Objective of Project:
Kolo DS, together with BroadSign, developed Mexico’s first digital banking branch with a large format HD LED display. The BBVA Bancomer project won the 2013 Digital Screenmedia Association Excellence Award for the Best Financial Services Deployment in Digital Signage.
Project Outcome:
Kolo DS unveiled a 27 x 2.5 meter LED screen and 15 meters of which were a custom-made curve.
Content was developed in a way that would work well with the ATMs embedded in the screen and attracted a significant audience, delivered brand messaging relevant to the business and provided the user with a unique experience at the entrance of the bank. The final product also included a sound system comprised of 14 Atlas speakers spanning the entire length of the digital branch.
This is Mexico City’s first digital branch, with which BBVA Bancomer has a completely innovative edge in regards to banking outlets. The branch unites Kolo’s network applications developed with Intel hardware and BroadSign software, making it a perfect model for succeeding digital banks.
